Understanding the issues and concerns
related to the space, goal setting, design review, and
contractor referral.
As a New England School of Feng Shui-trained Feng Shui
practitioner, Virginia Rowland integrates this timeless
practice into the design of optimal living and working
environments. In addition, identifying and understanding
one’s personality “type” assists Virginia
Rowland in guiding the design process to enhance personal
satisfaction and harmony in a home or work setting. Virginia
Rowland is a Qualified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
Practitioner (The Association for Psychological Type).
Feng Shui
Literally translated: “wind, water,” is the
ancient practice of living harmoniously with one’s
environment to support a life of longevity, prosperity,
good health and joy. While the Chinese gave a language
to Feng Shui, its principals were practiced by all indigenous
cultures to ensure their survival. The issue of “survival”
differs in today’s modern culture, yet the opportunity
for thriving through understanding energy and its relationship
to the environment remain the same.
The
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
MBTI has been used for over 75 years to identify individual
preferences related to how we observe our world, make
decisions, re-energize ourselves, and organize ourselves
with respect to time and the space around us. Identifying
and understanding one’s “type” assists
Virginia Rowland in guiding the design process to enhance
personal satisfaction and harmony in a home or work setting. |
