Virginia
Rowland is a 1981 graduate of Psychology from Denison University.
There her interest in Industrial Psychology (the impact
of design on worker productivity and health) lead her to
work in Personnel Management, followed by Career Counseling
and Time Management Training.
This latter career from 1984 - 1992, with E. Byers and Associates
of Burlington, Vt. (now the New Directions Studio), and
as a sole proprietor, introduced her to the Myers - Briggs
Type Indicator. Virginia completed her M.B.T.I. Qualification
in the fall of 2004.
Next, Virginia spearheaded the renovation of four homes
of varying degrees of complexity and style. One home was
published by Home Remodeling magazine, a Woman's Day publication
(Volume XII, Number 3, 2002). As Virginia developed her
unique approach to Renovation and Design, she attended the
New England School of Feng Shui certification program, between
2003 and 2005. As well, she participated in two intensive
design seminars at the Yestermorrow Design Build School,
Warren Vt.
